Costa Rican sales abroad reached $2.23 billion this year’s first quarter, which means a 13.4 percent inter-annual increase, according to the Ministry of Foreign Trade (COMEX in Spanish). In the 12 months that ended in March, overall exports amounted to $7.05 billion, and all sectors show increases, as compared to the preceding period, according to COMEX.
