A new hospital and medical complex is currently under construction in Cortes - located just minutes from Amelia's
Estates and San Buenas.

The hospital is located at the 194 KM marker on the Costanera Highway. The Amelia's Estates turnoff is at the
196 KM marker and San Buenas is at KM 187.

The hospital is 8,000 square meters in size (over 80,000 sq ft) and is scheduled was dedicatd by President Oscar Arias in April 2008.
